Introduction:
Graham and Wendy Pope took over Severn Sailboats in 2006 from the enigmatic Peter Bond, who, during his career produced many fine boats, supplying and inspiring generations of sailors from their first Topper or Laser and then onto a Fireball or Solo.
The new owners will continue the core business around the Solo but add the British Moth to the classes served with new boats and full back up of spares and repairs all based conveniently close to the M5 in Worcester.
The Fireball side has been taken over by Ian and Tom Castle in Northampton under the Dinghy Sport Banner.
